The Oumuamua Girls Series is inspired by the so-called "Oumuamua" object, the first known interstellar object to visit our solar system. It appears to be a rocky, cigar-shaped object with a somewhat reddish hue. For this reason, Lena’s "alien" girls all have red skin. The object was named "Oumuamua" by its discoverers in Hawaii (meaning the very, very first messenger). Since Lena is a huge space lover and her imagination goes beyond everything, she likes to think about alien life forms, especially women - strong, enigmatic, fascinating, and vibrant. This series is devoted to outer space and is a depiction of her visions of the sublime and untouchable beauty.
