Chloris embodies the spirit of renewal, the first breath of spring after a long winter. With her gentle greens and soft, vibrant energy, she reflects the quiet yet powerful awakening that often stirs within us when we are ready to begin again.
Painting Chloris was like capturing a whisper of life returning—those moments when growth feels fragile but unstoppable. In my work, I often explore these delicate transitions, the spaces where vulnerability and strength meet and intertwine. Chloris reminds me that renewal doesn't always come with a roar; sometimes, it arrives tenderly, almost imperceptibly, yet with unstoppable force.
She is a celebration of resilience, rebirth, and the quiet courage it takes to start anew.
This artwork is also accompanied by a poem:
Love
Love
So innocent and sweet
Like the first blossoming in spring
Of fondly blue flowers
In a gentle green fieldLove
With eyes wide open to the sky
Blinking at the glistening sun
Reflecting infinite blue shades
A tender life that has just begunLove
Lies gently in the grass
With warm colors gleaming from your heart
When flowers touch your embracing armsLove
That intertwines with you
Looks at me in magical ways
And enlightens me with awe
So I can see the universe throughLove
Like a lovely garden in spring
Delicate flowers entwine around your skin
Reminding me of rebirth withinLove
Takes me to heaven
And grounds me down on the meadow with you
Till all starlight aligns
For love it is I feel through and throughLove
Thanks to the wonder of you
