Meet Thalassa: The Nymph of Passion and Water
She is embodying the essence of passion and the fluid, overwhelming nature of longing. With her intense red tones and connection to water, she reflects a duality I often feel in life—where passion and desire can be as consuming as they are freeing.
Painting her was an emotional process, an outlet for all the feelings that sometimes have no words. For me, art is a way to channel these emotions, to give shape to the things that pull at the edges of our hearts. Thalassa reminds me that while passion can overwhelm, it can also be grounding—like water, both turbulent and serene.
She is a celebration of vulnerability, power, and the beauty of surrendering to what moves us.
