“Too much of water hast thou, poor Ophelia...” — Hamlet, Act IV, Scene VII
The shimmer of water, its reflection, its depth—this piece is about surrender, freedom, and the fluidity of being. I painted the water with metallic colors so it glistens and shifts as the light dances across it, much like water itself. It reflects not only light but emotion and meaning, a quiet symbol of introspection and transformation.
This is part of my Nymph series, inspired by the bond between human nature and the natural world, where we can be most ourselves—unveiled and free.
