Phoebe (framed)
Original artwork, acrylic on museum-quality-paper, 53x42cm, framed in a wooden customized blue frame (56x45cm), signed on the back of the artwork.
In Greek mythology, Phoebe was a Titaness associated with radiance, prophecy, and the moon — a grandmother of Apollo and Artemis, and once a keeper of the Oracle at Delphi. She embodies ancient wisdom and lunar clarity, guiding through intuition rather than voice. In this artwork, Phoebe emerges not as a distant deity, but as a quiet, contemplative presence — glowing softly from within, as if lit by memory and dream.
Her gaze holds something unspoken: the knowledge that light doesn’t always shout — sometimes it simply is. She evokes a world of introspection, solitude, and resilience, and carries the stillness that comes with understanding. For me, Phoebe represents those moments of inner knowing — when, even in uncertainty, something within shines steady and clear.
The artwork is accompanied by a poem:
Gleaming blue
Clearblue sky
Crystallized clouds
Flickering in the distance
Of your mind
Bue diamonds
Thrown into
Gleaming water
About to hold their breath
Before they break
A blue flame
Reflections of beryl desire
So scared of all
Your blue fire
Sharp sapphire glass
About to burst
Infront of my eye
Where you lie
A murderous blade
Gleaming blue
About to unfold itself
In my view
