Meet Daphnaie, the nymph who dwells among the trees, embodying the spirit of growth, renewal, and quiet strength. This piece is part of my Nymphs Series, where I explore the intersection of nature and the feminine spirit. For Daphnaie, I drew inspiration from the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms—their fleeting yet unforgettable presence. There’s something magical about the softness of touching a cherry blossom, how fragile yet vibrant it feels. I wanted to capture that sensation in this work—the gentle hues of pinks and reds, the fragile but persistent energy, and the ethereal vibe that cherry blossoms bring to the world. The background reflects those fleeting moments of beauty, blending impressionistic textures with surreal energy. The nymph herself becomes a symbol of this softness, embodying the fragility and strength found in nature.
