“I am from Mercury” deals with the topic of loss. The woman in my painting is wearing black as an expression of mourning. The scene could show her at or after a funeral; she is looking down, and her facial expression shows sadness. I myself have been dealing with loss throughout my life. Loss and mourning are topics that should be addressed.

“I am from Mercury” stands for “I am sad,” “I lost someone,” “I am mourning” — acknowledging the loss and feelings that we all have. I feel that in our everyday life of work, daily household chores and tasks, and the adaptations we have to make, this acknowledgement and honest disclosure of our feelings — which we often have to bury in order to “function” — is actually what we truly need.

Shipping Details:

• Shipping within the EU is included in the price of the artwork. For other regions, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
• All packages are insured and shipped via DHL unless you specify a preferred shipping service during checkout.
• A tracking code will be provided to you once your order has been dispatched, so you can track your shipment.
• Please allow up to 5 business days for handling and packaging before your order is shipped.

In Case of Damage During Transport:

• If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage.
• Since all shipments are insured, we will assist in filing a claim with the courier service.
• While we are not fully liable for damages caused during transit, we will work with the courier and insurance provider to resolve the issue. Please note that this process may require your cooperation.

• For international buyers outside the EU, customs fees and import duties are the buyer's responsibility.

You may return the artwork within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund, excluding return shipping costs.

• Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging. If the artwork arrives damaged during the return process, the buyer will be responsible for covering 50% of the damage cost.
• Refunds will only be issued once the returned item is received and inspected.
