Lucy with Sky (from the Pink Planet) was originally inspired by the song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" from The Beatles. I combined that inspiration together with the news of the discovery of a pink planet by NASA I read at that time. It's called GJ 504b, and it's a gas giant located in the constellation Virgo, about 57 light-years from Earth. This planet is unusually pink due to its young age and the composition of its atmosphere.
I imagined that all life there would be pink too and and if together with the song perfectly.
